Killarney

16. September 2017 Irland, Reisen

Thursday I arrived in Killarney. What a beautiful town with old buildings and pubs! At the moment of my arrival I was so overwhelmed by the sheer amount of tours that are available for the Ring of Kerry and parts of the national park, that I almost got lost. I had to take a deeper look into those tours online, at my hostel.

After taking a look online and gathering information at the reception of my hostel, I decided to book a tour through the Gap of Dunloe and Lakes of Killarney for Friday. I also planned to rent a bycicle so I could make a trip to the Torc Waterfall.

As I had some time left at Thursday, I decided to take a first look into the national park by walking to Ross Castle, located approximately 5km from my hostel. It is once again stunning that you walk out of the town and instantly find yourself in fields of green. Ireland is really very beautiful.
